Christian Dior
Christian Dior is known to many as a master couturier and art aficionado, but, those who are really in-the-know will tell you that he was a passionate gourmand, too. Titled La Cuisine Cousu-Main, which translates to ‘tailor-made cuisine’ the classic 1972 cookbook is accompanied by beautiful Rene Gruau illustrations and now available for free. Vogue perfectly summarized it as “Dom Pérignon and Dandelion Greens.” Bon Appètit!

MKB note: I found this for our three-year-old since she loves dinosaurs. I soon discovered that it’s an excellent resource for adults too after listening to mindfulness coach, Amy Taylor-Kabbaz solving the problems that a brachiosaurus encounters while playing hide and seek (they are too large to hide) among other fantastic, calming stories. One evening I just let it keep playing because I was too tired to make it stop and found my two favorites Super Cape + Mind Broom. Nominated for a 2020 Webby, which means one of the five best in the world in its category.
